Program Manager – Second Story for Teens in Crisis
Tina Seeley is the Program Manager at the Emergency Shelter for Teenagers, where she has worked for the past two years. Tina began her tenure at Second Story as a Master’s intern in 2011 at the Emergency Shelter for Teens. After receiving a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health from George Washington University in Washington DC, Tina worked as a residential counselor at a group home for adults with serious mental illness.
In 2013, Tina returned to Second Story as the Case Manager/Therapist for the Targeted Youth Program at Annandale High School, as well as in the Culmore and Annandale Safe Youth Projects. Soon after, Tina transitioned to the role of Case Manager/Therapist with the Homeless Youth Initiative/Transitional Living Program. Tina’s passion for working with younger adolescents eventually brought her back to the Emergency Shelter for Teens in late 2014 to take over her current role. Tina provides individual and family counseling to youth and families in crisis, as well as supervisory support of residential staff and general facility management. Outside of work Tina enjoys spending her time riding her horse Fizz.
