Our Beacon of Hope Society members bring light and hope to young people in need through long-term support. These members understand that our work requires dedication and commitment, and that means reliable and ongoing financial support.
Our Beacon of Hope Society members help us pay the hundreds of expenses we have each month to provide a network of support for young people in need. They help us pay for therapy for the young mother escaping abuse, and a safe home for her and her child. They help us pay for meals and a computer lab for the 4th grader who doesn’t have enough to eat at home and is struggling to focus on his classes. They help us offer a warm bed and family counseling for the high school student found sleeping under the bleachers at school, whose mentally-ill mother is newly homeless. They help us cut the number of young people on our waitlists and make it possible for us to plan for the future.
Anyone can pledge to join our Beacon of Hope Society. Society members pledge to give on a regular basis, with monetary contributions totaling $1,000 or more each year for five years. This equates to roughly $85 per month. Donations can be made at intervals throughout the year or one-time annually. These committed members are invited to special strategic vision sessions to help guide the direction of our work and mission and are considered to be part of a very important group of key stakeholders.
