We Have a New Look

Laptop with Second Story logo shown

You may have noticed things look a little different around here. Thanks to some amazing volunteers who worked side-by-side with our staff, Second Story is pleased to share our newly improved website. We still have all the great content we’ve had over the years, but we’ve made updates and improvements so you can find the information you need faster. Most of the changes include things you can’t see but will ensure our site remains supported, protected, and functional. Some changes you might notice include:

  • We’ve improved the accessibility of our website so it’s easier to use for all. These kinds of changes include improving readability through colors, fonts, and other aspects.
  • You’ll find it easier to access and read our news, podcast episodes, and stories.
  • Our stories provide windows into our programs. Now, it’s possible to sort our stories by the program you’re interested in learning more about.
  • Second Story’s Learning Center, our collection of resources about issues facing local youth and families, is easy to find from our homepage so you can better understand why our programs are necessary and view recent studies, reports, and videos.
  • You’ll find testimonials throughout our website so you can hear first-hand from the youth in our programs, our staff, our volunteers, and supporters.
  • We made additional changes to ensure our website will be easier to find when individuals search for programs like ours.
  • And much more!

As with any technology changes, we expect there will be small issues along the way. If you noticed anything that doesn’t seem quite right, please contact us to let us know. We appreciate your patiences during our transition and hope you enjoy our new website!
