Second Story for Young Mothers
Our Second Story for Young Mothers program provides housing, counseling and training to homeless women age 16 to 24 who are pregnant or have young children. We put an emphasis on parenting skills, completing an education, job readiness, and basic self-sufficiency so that young women will be able to support themselves and their children, breaking the cycle of poverty, abuse, or homelessness.
Ages 16-22. Residential services for pregnant or parenting young women and support services for minors who are pregnant or parenting. For residential services, young mothers must be in need of housing and agree to participate in counseling services along with other program expectations.
All services are provided in and around Fairfax County, Virginia. To find out if you qualify, contact youngmothers@second-story.org.
